ENER-J SMART LTD is seeking a commercially driven Key Account Manager to join our Northampton team. This office-based role focuses on growing relationships with electrical wholesale customers and driving outbound sales.

You will manage allocated accounts, build relationships with buyers and branch managers, and introduce ENER-J products through promotions and competitive propositions. A proactive, target-driven mindset is essential.

Competenze

• Experience in electrical wholesale, distribution, lighting or manufacturing.
• Background in internal sales, account management, or business development in the electrical/trade sector.
• Knowledge of how UK electrical wholesale operates and experience dealing with wholesalers, branches, buyers or contractors.

Mansioni

• Manage and grow allocated electrical wholesale accounts.
• Make proactive outbound calls to customers and prospects.
• Build relationships with buyers, branch managers and key decision makers.
• Identify opportunities to increase product range, stock profiles and branch penetration.
• Introduce new products, promotions and commercial offers.
• Follow up quotations, proposals and sales opportunities.
• Monitor purchasing patterns and identify opportunities for account growth.
• Reactivate dormant and lower-volume customers.
• Work closely with sales, marketing, product, warehouse and management teams.
• Maintain accurate customer records and work towards agreed sales targets.
