Job summary

JAB Electrical Wholesale in Sheffield is seeking an Account Manager to join our close-knit team. The role focuses on looking after existing trade customers, processing orders and delivering outstanding service from the Sheffield branch.

You will also reach out to new businesses, build strong relationships and help grow our customer base. The successful candidate will have electrical product knowledge and a proactive, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical wholesale or strong electrical industry background is essential.
• Previous account management, trade counter or B2B sales experience.
• Good knowledge of electrical products and customer requirements.
• Confident communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive approach to identifying and developing new business.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing customer accounts and build lasting relationships.
• Take enquiries, prepare quotes and process customer orders.
• Advise customers on electrical products and their requirements.
• Support the trade counter and general branch operations.
• Follow up on enquiries and identify further sales opportunities.
• Contact potential customers to generate new business.
• Work closely with the team to keep the branch running smoothly.
