Job summary

Certas Energy in the United Kingdom seeks a Customer Account Manager to own a portfolio of business customers, build long-term relationships and identify opportunities to retain, grow and win new business. The role blends inbound and outbound activity with a sales mindset.

You will negotiate commercially, upsell products, collaborate with Business Development colleagues and aim to hit targets for retention and portfolio growth. A monthly bonus enhances earnings for high performers.

Qualifications

• Confident at speaking with customers and commercially driven by targets and results.
• Experience or potential in account management, business development or customer retention.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop your own portfolio of customer accounts.
• Build long-term relationships and understand customers' businesses.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
• Protect existing business through proactive customer retention.
• Re-engage lapsed customers and bring them back into the business.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities.
• Work with Business Development Managers to bring in new customers.
• Handle warm leads, inbound inquiries and proactive outbound activity.
• Negotiate commercially and maximise portfolio opportunities.
• Work towards sales, retention and portfolio growth targets.
