Job summary

DJH is seeking a Client Services Director in Manchester to lead our accounts portfolio and deliver exceptional client service. You’ll work with directors to shape strategy, build strong client relationships and drive growth across varied owner-managed businesses.

You’ll manage a high-performing accounts team, mentor staff, and own business development, including pitches and proposals. This role rewards strategic thinking, collaboration, and a passion for delivering outstanding client experiences.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification
• Senior Manager/Director experience or ready to step up
• Experience with owner-managed businesses
• Commercial mindset with focus on winning more client work
• Tech-savvy; knowledge of CCH desirable
• Strong leadership and team energy
• Collaborative and progressive work environment
• Excellent communication with clients and teams

Responsibilities

• Manage and look after your own diverse client portfolio
• Cultivate long-lasting client relationships and be the go-to for clients
• Lead a team and oversee delivery of services to clients
• Collaborate with directors and other departments to support delivery
• Wow clients daily with deep understanding of their business
• Drive growth by retaining and expanding existing clients and winning new work
• Own business development, pitch opportunities and proposals
• Take on larger, complex assignments with Accounts team support
• Review processes and implement efficient service delivery
• Coach and develop the accounts team and line reports
