Job summary

DJH in Manchester is recruiting a Client Services Director to lead the Accounts team and manage a diverse client portfolio. The role focuses on delivering outstanding service and driving growth by expanding existing client relationships and winning new work.

You will partner with directors and other departments to optimise service delivery, coach the accounts team, and ensure a fantastic client experience in a fast-paced firm.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification required.
• Experience as Senior Manager or Director in practice.
• Experience with owner-managed businesses.
• Strong commercial mindset with appetite for winning more client work.
• Tech-savvy with knowledge of CCH desirable.
• Excellent leadership and communication.

As our Client Service Director, you’ll be fully immersed with our experienced accounts team in Manchester, working with directors to provide great advice to our clients. Life will be fast paced, engaging, creative and rewarding.

It’s a great opportunity to develop and progress within a forward-thinking and fast-paced firm. You’ll:

• Manage and look after your own vibrant and diverse client portfolio.
• Cultivate long-lasting relationships becoming the go-to for clients.
• Lead a team, overseeing the production of the work to deliver a fantastic service.
• Work closely with directors and other departments to support the overall delivery of services to your portfolio.
• Wow clients daily, getting to know their business to deliver great experience.
• Drive our growth by retaining and expanding existing clients, while getting out there to build relationships and win new client work.
• Take ownership of business development, spotting opportunities, leading pitches and proposals, and converting prospects into long-term clients.
• Undertaking larger, more complex assignments with the support of the wider Accounts team.
• Reviewing processes and implementing more efficient ways of service delivery.
• Coach and develop the accounts team and line reports.
