Job summary

LHH is recruiting a Client Services Director in Manchester to lead client relationships, develop people, and contribute to growth. The role blends client-facing duties, team leadership, and commercial involvement in a fast-paced advisory environment.

The successful candidate will have ACA/ACCA credentials and experience at senior director levels within accountancy practice, with a track record of expanding client relationships and leading high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Experience at Senior Manager/Director level in accountancy practice.
• Experience with a broad range of clients, including owner-managed businesses.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities.
• Proactive approach to business development and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of clients across sectors.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Lead and develop the team, ensuring delivery of high-quality work and client service.
• Collaborate with directors and colleagues across the business.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and generate new business.
• Drive business development activities including proposals, pitches, and presentations.
