Based in Milton Keynes

Investigo is supporting a rapidly growing SME in Milton Keynes, seeking a new Group Financial Controller. The Group includes 5 legal entities and requires reshaping and expanding the finance team.

Experience in managing large teams is essential as the role involves daily management, setting objectives, and leading a top-tier finance team.

The business plans to grow through acquisitions, and this role will assist with integrations.

The role is based in Milton Keynes, 3 days a week, with flexible start/finish times; focus on delivery and results.

Key Duties

1. Managing a finance team of approximately 16 staff, including 4 direct reports.
2. Consolidating financial results from multiple subsidiaries and business units.
3. Enhancing financial systems, processes, and controls within a new ERP system, with ongoing improvements.
4. Playing a key role in M&A activities, including integration processes.

Experience Required

• Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Proven experience in finance transformation within a financial control environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and reporting standards.
