Job summary

Grafton Banks Finance are partnering with a global business in the South of England to recruit an Interim Group Financial Controller for a 6-month period. This is a full-time interim role offering remote working access. Experience within Manufacturing or FMCG industries is essential and highly valued.

You will lead the global finance team, drive cost management, budgeting, and consolidation efforts, and report to senior management while supporting change and growth across the group.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience in manufacturing or FMCG group environments.
• Experienced in group financial controls, cost management projects, and short-notice availability.
• Strong treasury, budgeting, consolidation, and KPI reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage global finance team day-to-day.
• Develop team capability and ensure delivery across the group.
• Prepare monthly board packs and review entity budgets and forecasts.
• Oversee treasury management including cashflow reconciliation, analysis, and forecasting.
• Consolidate monthly group management accounts and present to senior management.
• Coordinate the group audit and design/implement standardised group processes.

Grafton Banks Finance are delighted to be partnering with a global business based in the South of England to recruit an Interim Group Financial Controller for a period of 6 months. This is a full-time interim job offering remote working. Experience within the Manufacturing or FMCG industries is essential.

Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team you will support during a period of change, growth and development whilst maintaining and operating the smooth running of the company's finances and control processes. Key Responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for the day-to-day management of the global finance team
• Developing team capability and ensuring effective delivery across the group
• Preparation of monthly board packs
• Review and ensure accuracy of entity budgets and forecasts
• Treasury management including cashflow reconciliation, analysis, and forecasting
• Group variance analysis and KPI reporting
• Ad-hoc commercial and financial analysis as required
• Bank reporting
• Pricing analysis
• Review and ensure accuracy of entity management accounts and control files
• Consolidation of monthly group management accounts and presentation to senior management
• Design and implementation of standardised group processes
• Co-ordination of the group audit

The successful candidate will be a professional Interim with a portfolio of successfully completed interim contracts. It is essential that you are a Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA and experience of working within either Manufacturing or FMCG industries in a Group setting within Financial Controls. You will need to have worked specifically on Cost management projects and be available at short notice. This is a remote working interim job opportunity.
