Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to provide hands-on leadership within a multinational manufacturing business based in Slough. The role requires a strong background in manufacturing finance and end-to-end management of the finance function.
The successful candidate will lead month-end, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and balance sheet control, while collaborating with operational stakeholders.
We are looking for an experienced Interim Finance Manager to provide hands–on leadership and additional support to an established finance team within a fast–growing, multinational manufacturing business based in Slough.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Management Accountant, Financial Accountant, or similar, with a strong technical accounting background and proven experience of managing the day–to–day delivery of a finance function within a manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing finance and be comfortable working across both financial and management accounting. Experience of inventory, standard costing, production variances, product costing, gross margin analysis, budgeting and forecasting will be highly advantageous.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced interim who can quickly understand the needs of the business, take ownership of key finance activities and provide stability and support to the existing team. Experience within a multinational manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment would be highly desirable.
The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a hands–on role, with responsibility for month–end, management reporting, financial analysis, balance sheet control, inventory reporting, budgeting and forecasting. You will be confident reviewing financial performance, investigating variances and working closely with operational stakeholders.
Experience working within a multinational group environment is important, including exposure to group reporting, intercompany accounting, foreign currency and corporate reporting requirements. The successful candidate will be comfortable working within established group controls and processes, while also identifying opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the local finance function.
This role would suit someone who can hit the ground running, quickly build credibility with both the finance team and wider operational business, and provide strong financial leadership throughout the assignment. Strong Excel and ERP experience are essential, with experience of SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or similar systems highly desirable.
