Located in Manchester, we are seeking an experienced Finance Controller/ Finance Director who willoversee our client'sdaily finance operations, strategy, reporting, people management, and transformation initiatives during a critical transition period. The Role

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Interim expert will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will work closely with our CFO to stabilize and enhance financial processes, contributing to long-term growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function, ensuring effective financial management, planning, and reporting..

• Oversee the ongoing audit process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Drive transformation initiatives, optimizing financial systems and processes.
• Collaborate with Directors and Shareholders to align financial strategy with business objectives.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant leadership experience.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within infrastructure, engineering, or related sectors is advantageous.
