Job summary

Nuffield Health in Edinburgh is seeking a Group Exercise Manager to lead group classes and drive the timetable offering. You will teach classes in the studio and pool, promote health programmes, and ensure safety and service standards across the Centre.

The role requires a qualified instructor with class-based exercise qualifications and experience in a commercial fitness setting. A First Aid qualification is ideal, with duties including opening/closing the Centre and processing memberships.

Qualifications

• Qualified instructor with qualifications in class-based exercise.
• Experience in corporate/ commercial fitness environment.
• First aid qualification preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety rules and center procedures.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes in the studio and the pool.
• Develop class and timetable offering in line with trends and budget.
• Ensure health and safety rules and codes of practice are followed.
• Keep equipment cleaned and maintained.
• Understand and promote health assessments and programmes.
• Open and close the Centre and process memberships.
