Job summary

Nuffield Health East Kilbride FWC is seeking a Group Exercise Manager to lead the delivery of group classes, motivate members, review timetables and ensure timely responses to members. The role is permanent, part-time (8 hours per week) with a pro rata salary of £26,707.20.

You'll be a qualified instructor with relevant class-based exercise qualifications and experience in a corporate or commercial fitness setting. A first aid qualification is preferred to support safety procedures.

• First aid qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes in the studio and the pool.
• Develop class and timetable offering aligned with trends and budget.
• Ensure health and safety rules and codes of practice are followed.
• Maintain and clean all equipment.
• Promote health assessments, classes and programmes offered.
• Follow procedures for opening/closing the centre and processing payments.

From motivating members to teaching classes, reviewing timetables and ensuring we respond to members in good time. Here, you'll proactively develop both your knowledge and our offering.

As a Group Exercise Manager at our East Kilbride FWC, you'll be a qualified instructor with the relevant qualifications in class-based exercise. You'll have experience of a corporate or commercial fitness environment. And ideally, you hold a first aid qualification and can follow the Emergency Action Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes in the studio and the pool
• Develop our class and timetable offering, in line with the latest trends and our budget
• Help the team follow health and safety rules, as well as codes of practice
• Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained
• Understand and promote all the health assessments, classes and programmes we offer
• Follow our procedures in opening and closing the Centre, and processing membership payments
