Job summary

Nuffield Health in East Kilbride is hiring a Group Exercise Manager to lead class-based sessions, guide timetable development, and enhance member experience at our club.

You will be a qualified class-based instructor with experience in a corporate or commercial fitness environment, and ideally hold a first aid qualification. The role includes supervising the team, maintaining safety standards, and supporting membership processes.

Qualifications

• Qualified instructor with relevant qualifications in class-based exercise.
• First aid qualification is advantageous.
• Experience in a corporate or commercial fitness environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes in the studio and the pool.
• Develop the class and timetable offering in line with trends and budget.
• Help the team follow health and safety rules and codes of practice.
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained.
• Understand and promote all health assessments, classes and programmes offered.
• Follow procedures for opening/closing the centre and processing memberships.

Group Exercise Manager

East Kilbride FWC | Fitness | Permanent | Part Time £26,707.20 pro rata

8 hours per week

If you’re passionate about fitness and wellbeing, you could take the lead on delivering exceptional customer service at our club. From motivating members to teaching classes, reviewing timetables and ensuring we respond to members in good time. Here, you’ll proactively develop both your knowledge and our offering.

As a Group Exercise Manager at our East Kilbride FWC, you’ll be a qualified instructor with the relevant qualifications in class-based exercise. You’ll have experience of a corporate or commercial fitness environment. And ideally, you hold a first aid qualification and can follow the Emergency Action Procedures.

As a Group Exercise Manager, you will:

• Teach classes in the studio and the pool
• Develop our class and timetable offering, in line with the latest trends and our budget
• Help the team follow health and safety rules, as well as codes of practice
• Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained
• Understand and promote all the health assessments, classes and programmes we offer
• Follow our procedures in opening and closing the Centre, and processing membership payments
