Job summary

Nuffield Health Group in Oxford is seeking a Group Exercise Manager to lead our gym's class programme and timetable, motivating members and delivering high‑quality, instructor-led sessions on site.

You will bring a recognised class-based exercise qualification and experience in a commercial fitness setting, with a focus on safety, member engagement, and smooth centre operations including opening/closing and payments. Health assessments and member wellbeing are core to the role.

Qualifications

• Qualified instructor with the relevant qualifications in class-based exercise.
• Experience in a corporate or commercial fitness environment.
• First aid qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop group exercise class and timetable offering in line with trends and budget.
• Help the team follow health and safety rules and codes of practice.
• Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
• Understand and promote health assessments, classes and programmes offered.
• Follow procedures for opening and closing the Centre, and processing membership payments.

  As a Group Exercise Manager at our club, you'll be a qualified instructor with the relevant qualifications in class-based exercise. You'll have experience of a corporate or commercial fitness environment. And ideally, you hold a first aid qualification and can follow the Emergency Action Procedures.
