Job summary

Nuffield Health Careers in Oxfordshire is seeking a Group Exercise Manager to lead group classes, develop timetables and ensure top-notch member service. You’ll teach in the studio and pool, shaping the offering to align with trends and budget while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires you to be a qualified class-based exercise instructor with corporate fitness experience, and ideally hold a first aid qualification to support emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Qualified instructor with credentials in class-based exercise.
• Experience in a corporate or commercial fitness environment.
• First aid qualification or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes in the studio and the pool.
• Develop class and timetable offering in line with trends and budget.
• Help the team follow health and safety rules and codes of practice.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned and maintained.
• Understand and promote health assessments, classes and programmes offered.
• Follow procedures for opening/closing the Centre and processing payments.

Group Exercise Manger

Oxfordshire | Gym | Permanent | Part Time

£27,248 pro rata

10 hours per week

If you’re passionate about fitness and wellbeing, you could take the lead on delivering exceptional customer service at our club. From motivating members to teaching classes, reviewing timetables and ensuring we respond to members in good time. Here, you’ll proactively develop both your knowledge and our offering.

As a Group Exercise Manager at our club, you’ll be a qualified instructor with the relevant qualifications in class-based exercise. You’ll have experience of a corporate or commercial fitness environment. And ideally, you hold a first aid qualification and can follow the Emergency Action Procedures.

As a Group Exercise Manager, you will:

• Teach classes in the studio and the pool
• Develop our class and timetable offering, in line with the latest trends and our budget
• Help the team follow health and safety rules, as well as codes of practice
• Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained
• Understand and promote all the health assessments, classes and programmes we offer
• Follow our procedures in opening and closing the Centre, and processing membership payments
