Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to deliver high-quality outdoor spaces and meet SLA commitments. The role is based in Reading with a 40-hour week and an hourly rate of £13.45.

Responsibilities include grass cutting, hedge maintenance, and winter services. A full UK driving license is preferred for roles involving company vehicles, with a flexible benefits program available.

We're looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and maintaining outdoor spaces to the highest quality.

Hourly Rate of Pay: £13.45

Contract Type: Permanent

Total Weekly Contractual Hours: 40

Requirement: Full UK Driving License

Role Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Passion for working outdoors in agile and flexible environments
• Good understanding of smartphone technology
• Grounds maintenance experience is desirable but not essential
• PAI & PA6 spraying license is a plus
• Full UK driving license preferred for roles involving company vehicles
