Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is recruiting a Grounds Maintenance Operative across Solihull and the surrounding areas. This long-term, temp-to-perm opportunity is for a housing association, offering £17.20 per hour through the agency and progression to permanent employment after 13 weeks.

You will join an experienced team to keep communal grounds and green spaces tidy, carry out grass cutting, hedge work, ride-on mowing, spraying, and litter collection across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance or gardening.
• Experience using grounds maintenance machinery, including ride-on mowers.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• Willingness to undertake a DBS check.

Job description

Enjoy a long-term, temp-to-perm opportunity working for a respected and well-established housing association across Solihull and the surrounding areas. This Grounds Maintenance Operative role offers £17.20 per hour, with 13 weeks working through the agency before the opportunity to move into permanent employment.

You’ll be working for a major housing association in the Solihull area, helping to keep communal grounds and green spaces clean, tidy and well maintained. You’ll be part of an experienced team where your contribution will help provide residents with attractive and well-kept outdoor areas as a Grounds Maintenance Operative.

As a Grounds Maintenance Operative you will be:
