Job summary

Think Recruitment is seeking a gardener to support a leading housing association in Coventry. You will use ride-on and stand-on mowers, hedge cutters, and other petrol-powered equipment to care for housing stock in the local area.

Responsibilities include grass cutting, hedge trimming, strimming and pruning. A van is provided for work purposes, and hours are 7:00am–3:00pm, Monday to Friday, totaling 37 hours per week. Salary is £16.78 per hour, temporary to permanent.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of grounds maintenance.
• Experience of grass cutting, shrub and hedge cutting, weed control, litter picking and all associated tasks.
• Experience of using appropriate equipment including operation of petrol machinery and ride on mowers.

Responsibilities

• Grass cutting, hedge trimming, strimming and pruning in the Coventry area.
• Maintain housing stock with routine grounds maintenance duties.
• Ensure team safety and efficient use of equipment.

Job description

I am looking for a gardener to work with a leading housing association in Coventry.

Work will include using various equipment including ride on mowers, stand on's and hedge cutters.

You will be responsible for looking after housing stock in the Coventry area which will include grass cutting, hedge trimming, strimming and pruning.

A van will be provided for work purposes only.

Hours: Monday to Friday 37 hours per week. 7:00am - 15:00pm. 14:30pm finish on Friday.

You will Receive: £16.78 P/H 12 weeks temp to perm

You will need:

• General knowledge of grounds maintenance
• Experience of grass cutting, shrub and hedge cutting, weed control, litter picking and all associated tasks.
• Experience of using appropriate equipment including the operation of petrol machinery and ride on mowers
• Full UK driving license
• PA1 & PA6 (ideal but not essential)
