Job summary

Niyaa People is recruiting a Grounds Maintenance Operative to support a housing association in Worcester and surrounding areas. The role offers £17.20 per hour through the agency, with a 13-week temp-to-perm pathway into permanent employment.

You will maintain communal grounds, cut grass, trim hedges, operate ride-on mowers, and provide a tidy outdoor environment for residents across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Previous grounds maintenance or gardening experience.
• Experience using grounds maintenance machinery, including ride-on mowers.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• Willingness to undertake a DBS check.
• Ability to work across Worcester and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

Enjoy a long-term, temp-to-perm opportunity working for a respected and well-established housing association across Worcester and the surrounding areas. This Grounds Maintenance Operative role offers £17.20 per hour, with 13 weeks working through the agency before the opportunity to move into permanent employment.

You’ll be working for a major housing association in the Worcester area, helping to keep communal grounds and green spaces clean, tidy and well maintained. You’ll be part of an experienced team where your contribution will help provide residents with attractive and well-kept outdoor areas as a Grounds Maintenance Operative.

I’d love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as a Grounds Maintenance Operative, Grounds Person, Gardener, Estate Operative or in a similar grounds maintenance role.
