You will maintain local public spaces for the Westmorland and Furness contract, undertaking grass cutting with ride-on and pedestrian mowers, strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub borders, litter collection, and related horticultural duties.
Prior grounds experience is required. This position suits someone comfortable with outdoor work in all weather, possessing practical skills and reliability. Further training can be provided.

We currently require multiple Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our teams in Barrow to work on our Westmorland and Furness contract. You will keep several local grounds in a wonderful condition for our client through grass cutting; using a ride on and pedestrian mower, strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub and border maintenance, litter picking and any other related horticultural duties. Previous Grounds Maintenance experience beneficial or experience andamp; willing to work outdoors. Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset. Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. PA1 and PA6 licenses are desirable. A full valid UK manual driving licence beneficial.
