Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) in Taunton is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to maintain local grounds in excellent condition through grass cutting, pruning, weeding, and litter control using ride-on and pedestrian mowers.

Working Monday to Friday 07:30–16:00, you will join a team that values safety, reliability, and a positive attitude; a full UK driving licence is required, PA1/PA6 are advantageous but not essential.

• Previous Grounds Maintenance experience.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Full valid UK driving licence is essential.
• PA1 and PA6 licences are an advantage but not essential

Grounds Maintenance Operative
Location: Taunton
Hourly Rate: £12.71 p/h
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time
Working Hours: Mon-Fri between 07:30-16:00

We currently require a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team in Taunton. You will keep several local grounds in a wonderful condition for our clients through grass cutting; using a ride on and pedestrian mower, strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub and border maintenance, litter picking and any other related horticultural duties. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable experience, and grow with us in a friendly and encouraging environment.

Requirements

• Previous Grounds Maintenance working experience.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable with a can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
• A full valid UK driving licence is essential.
• PA1 and PA6 licences are an advantage but not essential
