Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative for a permanent, full-time post in Dungannon. You will maintain local grounds through grass cutting (ride-on and pedestrian mowers), strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub and border upkeep, and litter collection across multiple sites.

A valid UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential. The role is Monday to Friday with 40 hours annually, rising to 45 per week during peak season and dropping to 35 in winter.

Job description

Grounds Maintenance Operative sought in Dungannon, offering up to £13.03 per hour on a temporary basis. Working Monday to Friday, hours are annualised at 40 per week, increasing to 45 during peak season and reducing to 35 through winter. Your duties cover grass cutting with ride-on and pedestrian mowers, strimming, pruning, weeding, border upkeep, and litter collection across local sites. Previous horticultural experience is required, alongside reliability and care for equipment. Grounds Maintenance Operative Location: Dungannon, Northern Ireland Hourly Rate: £13.03 p/h Contract Type: Permanent, full-time Working Hours: Mon-Fri between 07:00-17:00, 40 hours annualised (45 hours per week in season, 35 hours in winter period)

About the role

We currently require a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team in Dungannon. You will keep several local grounds in a wonderful condition for our clients through grass cutting; using a ride on and pedestrian mower, strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub and border maintenance, litter picking and any other related horticultural duties.
