Job summary

Ripon Farm Services Ltd in Ripon is seeking a proactive Groundcare Sales specialist. You will maximise showroom-driven sales, generate and convert opportunities, and deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional, engaging showroom that showcases products to the highest standard.

You own the customer journey from enquiry to handover and follow-up, including parts and aftersales support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail, machinery or customer-facing sales is desirable.
• Confident, consultative sales approach with ability to prospect, follow up and close business.
• Practical mechanical awareness and ability to learn product specifications, applications and parts identification.

Responsibilities

• Actively generate and convert Groundcare sales opportunities from showroom, telephone, and local prospecting.
• Understand customer needs and recommend machines, attachments and support packages.
• Prepare accurate quotations and follow up opportunities.
• Arrange product demonstrations and explain safety, features and ownership benefits.
• Merchandise products to a high standard and keep pricing info current.
• Coordinate delivery, handover and aftersales support with relevant teams.
• Promote finance, warranty, servicing and genuine parts offerings.
• Escalate issues to the appropriate colleague or manager.
