Job summary

idverde in Dungannon seeks a Grounds Maintenance Operative to keep local grounds in excellent condition through grass cutting, strimming, pruning and border maintenance. You’ll work with ride-on and pedestrian mowers, perform litter picking and other horticultural duties.

Working hours are Mon-Fri, 40 hours annually (45 in season, 35 in winter). The role offers a £13.03 p/h rate in a permanent full-time contract with a friendly, supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous Grounds Maintenance experience.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• A full valid UK driving licence & B+E (towing trailers)

Responsibilities

• Grass cutting using ride on and pedestrian mowers.
• Strimming, pruning and weeding of shrubs and borders.
• Litter picking and related horticultural duties.
• Maintain grounds to a high standard for clients.

Grounds Maintenance Operative
Location: Dungannon, Northern Ireland
Hourly Rate: £13.03 p/h
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time
Working Hours: Mon-Fri between 07:00-17:00, 40 hours annualised (45 hours per week in season, 35 hours in winter period)

About the role

We currently require a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team in Dungannon. You will keep several local grounds in a wonderful condition for our clients through grass cutting; using a ride on and pedestrian mower, strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub and border maintenance, litter picking and any other related horticultural duties.

Requirements

• Previous Grounds Maintenance working experience.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable with a can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
• A full valid UK driving licence & B+E (towing trailers)
• PA1 and PA6 licences are an advantage but not essential
