Job summary

AECOM in the United Kingdom seeks a Technical Director/Associate Director for Ground Engineering to lead geotechnical delivery across major projects. Hybrid working is available, with leadership responsibility for a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality analyses and design for infrastructure and energy sectors.

The role requires Chartered status, a Civil/Geotech degree with a 2:1 or better, and strong knowledge of UK ground conditions and design codes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology or Geotechnical field with 2:1 or higher.
• MSc/MEng in Soil Mechanics or Geotech is advantageous.
• Chartered status is required or pursued.

Responsibilities

• Oversee input, peer review and verification of geotechnical data and analyses.
• Provide consultative advice through all project stages: site-selection, optioneering, design and construction.
• Manage geotechnical projects with schedules, coordination and budget.
