Job summary

Hitachi Energy UK Limited is seeking a highly motivated Sales Specialist to join our Grid Integration team. The role focuses on driving growth across Transmission & Distribution, Renewables, Data Centre and Transport segments, leveraging GIS, Hybrid & AIS solutions.

You will identify opportunities, engage customers early in projects, and position Hitachi Energy as the partner of choice through value-based selling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in power transmission and distribution sales or account management.
• Knowledge of HV 400kV–132kV and MV 66kV–11kV systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth for Grid Integration solutions across T&D, Data Centre, Renewables, and Industrial segments.
• Lead upfront selling of solutions, engaging customers, consultants, EPCs, and utility stakeholders early in projects.
• Promote Gas GIS, Hybrid & AIS solutions and broader substation technologies.
• Develop and execute account plans for utilities, industrial customers, renewable developers, and key partners.
• Identify market opportunities and create strategies to increase market share and profitability.
• Build relationships with decision-makers and influencers throughout the customer journey.
• Collaborate with engineering, proposal, and project teams to develop technical and commercial solutions.
• Support bid management activities, including proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and presentations.
