Job summary

Hitachi Energy UK Limited in Birmingham is seeking a Sales Specialist to drive Grid Integration growth across Transmission & Distribution, Data Centre & Renewables, and Industrial segments, selling GIS, Hybrid, and AIS substation solutions.

You will build strategic account plans, engage utilities and EPCs early in projects, and lead value-based proposals while collaborating with engineering and project teams to secure key opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical sales within power T&D.
• Strong knowledge of electrical grid infrastructure and substations.
• Experience with Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS) products and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth for Grid Integration solutions across T&D, Data Centre, Renewables, Industrial and Transport segments.
• Lead upfront selling, engaging utilities, EPCs, consultants, and other stakeholders in early project stages.
• Develop and execute account plans for utilities, industrial customers, renewable developers, and key partners.
• Support bid management activities including proposals, contracts, and customer presentations.
