Job summary

Hitachi Energy in the UK and Ireland is seeking a Service Sales Manager to lead our Grid Integration Service business. You will shape and execute the regional service sales strategy to drive growth, profitability, and customer value.

In this role you will develop long-term partnerships, negotiate contracts, and coach a high-performing team while expanding lifecycle service offerings across critical energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Business, Sales, or a related discipline.
• Experience in service sales, account management, or business development.
• Background within energy, utilities, power systems, industrial, or critical infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Grid Integration Service sales strategy across the UK and Ireland.
• Drive orders, revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
• Identify and convert new service opportunities across the installed customer base.
• Expand lifecycle service offerings and grow long‑term service agreements.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Lead commercial negotiations and support effective contract and risk management.
• Coach, develop, and inspire a high‑performing service sales team.
• Collaborate across functions to deliver outstanding customer outcomes and sustainable business growth.
