Octopus Energy Services in England is recruiting Plumbers to install Air Source Heat Pumps. You’ll work in two-man teams, on customer properties, and receive training to master new technologies from day one.

The role requires Level 2 NVQ Plumbing and Heating or Gas CCN1/CENWAT with three years’ experience, and a full UK driving licence. We offer £26,000–£30,000 base, overtime, London weighting, a £2,500 annual bonus, share options, lunch allowance, a company vehicle, PPE and training.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing and Heating or Mechanical Engineering Services - Plumbing
• Gas Qualified with CCN1 and CENWAT, held for a minimum of three years
• Experience on the ‘wet’ side of domestic heating systems
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a two-person team to install low carbon technology in customers’ homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps
• Prepare and install unvented cylinders, pipework, and radiators using knowledge of domestic heating systems
• Plan and communicate with the wider team and customers
• Learn about new technologies at the R&D training centre
