Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is hiring a field-based Plumbing & Heating Technician to install low carbon technology in customers’ homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps. You will work in a two-person team, bringing expertise in domestic heating systems and unvented cylinders.

The role requires a Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing & Heating or Gas qualifications CCN1/CENWAT, plus a full UK licence with minimal points. Training at our R&D centre and a competitive package await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Plumbing & Heating or Gas Qualified with CCN1 and CENWAT.
• Experience on the wet side of domestic heating systems.
• Full UK driving licence with up to 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Install low carbon technology in customers' homes as part of a two-person team, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps.
• Prepare and install unvented cylinders, pipework, and radiators using plumbing knowledge.
• Plan and communicate with the wider team and customers.
• Learn about new technologies at the R&D training centre.
