Job summary

Stantec in Exeter is launching its 2027 Graduate Programme for a Graduate Civil Engineer. You will support the delivery of regulated water projects, collaborate with the Exeter water civil team, and help develop practical solutions with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary colleagues.

The role includes preparing drawings, calculations, reports, site visits and health and safety documentation, with a focus on pursuing ICE/CIWEM chartership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Unconditional right to live and work in the UK for an indefinite period.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of water projects for regulated clients.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, calculations, reports and health and safety documentation.
• Develop survey scopes and help collect information to inform design development.
• Attend site visits to inform design development and understand project constraints.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Exeter water civil team and wider national water and civil discipline.
• Develop technical capability through project work, mentoring and the graduate development programme.
