Job summary

Stantec invites applications for its 2027 Graduate Programme in Cambridge for a Graduate Civil Engineer to support major water and wastewater infrastructure programmes across the East of England and the UK.

You will work with a growing team, gain exposure to AMP8 frameworks, and develop skills towards chartered status with ICE while contributing to sustainable solutions.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a collaborative mindset; office-based four days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required or highly desirable.
• Adaptable and collaborative mindset with strong communication.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills across water infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and delivery of water and wastewater projects from concept to detailed design.
• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, drawings and deliverables.
• Collaborate with process, mechanical, electrical, structural, geotechnical and digital teams.
• Participate in design reviews, meetings and site visits to build practical knowledge.
• Support project delivery activities including quality assurance, risk management, and programme coordination.
• Contribute to projects that enhance water resilience and sustainable infrastructure.
