Job summary

WSP is inviting graduates to join its Civil teams across the UK as part of a two-year Graduate Development Programme. You will contribute to exciting projects in Bridges, Maritime, Aviation, Rail and Pavements, working within multidisciplinary teams and gaining hands-on experience through design, site visits and stakeholder engagement.

You will start in September 2027, have a 2:2 or higher in a relevant degree, and develop skills across transport infrastructure with strong mentorship and growth

Qualifications

• 2:2 or higher in a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree; master’s for Bridges opportunities.
• Start date in September 2027.
• Interest in Civil/Structural Engineering, Pavement Engineering, Airfield Engineering or Airport Planning.
• Curious, collaborative and motivated to solve problems shaping the built environment.
• Enjoy working with others and learning from different specialists across project teams.
• Take ownership of work and development while creating value for clients.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects across Bridges, Maritime, Aviation, Rail Civil Infrastructure, Pavements and Asset Management.
• Contribute to design work, technical analysis, site visits and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers and specialists on real-world challenges.
• Gain hands-on experience and take on increasing responsibility as skills develop.

Education

2:2 or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field (master’s for Bridges)

Interest in Civil and Structural Engineering, Pavement, Airfield Engineering, Aviation Management or Airport Planning
