The role Westminster School is looking for a well-organised and methodical Graduate Trainee Librarian to assist with the daily running of the school library. This fixed-term role provides valuable experience for graduates considering a career in librarianship and preparing to apply for, or complete, a recognised postgraduate course in Library and Information Science or similar sector. The successful candidate will help maintain a calm, welcoming environment in our library, ensuring an information-rich space for students to study and read.
This role is ideal for a graduate of any discipline who is committed to developing their professional skills. Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills are essential, along with a collaborative approach and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting students and staff. Prior library experience is not required, as training and mentoring will be provided by a qualified Librarian during your time with us.
