Are you a graduate looking to gain classroom experience before pursuing a career in teaching? A large secondary academy in Brixton is seeking enthusiastic and motivated graduates to support students in English, Maths, and Science. This is an excellent opportunity to develop teaching skills, gain hands-on experience, and explore the rewarding world of education.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students across KS3 and KS4, both in class and through small group sessions.
  • Help students develop core subject skills and prepare for exams.
  • Assist teachers in preparing materials and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one support for students who need extra help.
  • Work with students with special educational needs (SEND).
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Get involved in extracurricular activities and school events.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (any subject).
  • A genuine interest in teaching and working with young people.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting learning.
  • Previous experience in an educational setting is a plus but not essential!
