Job summary

Babcock’s Systems Engineering Graduate Programme is a two-year scheme with placements across diverse UK locations, including Walsall and Plymouth, starting September 2027. You will apply systems principles to design, integrate and maintain complex platforms, from submarines to naval ships and power systems.

You will gain structured development, mentorship, and masterclasses while progressing toward professional registration.

Qualifications

• Achieved or on track to achieve a BEng, MEng, BSc or MSc in a STEM discipline.
• Interest in systems engineering and complex projects.
• Eligible for BPSS/SC security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Rotational placements across multiple projects and teams over two years.
• Contribute to system requirements, interfaces and verification activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, software, and project management functions.
• Develop professional skills toward Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status.
