Job summary

Babcock's Electrical Engineering Graduate Programme in Bristol starts September 2027. You will rotate through placements every three to six months, gaining exposure to electrical, control and instrumentation engineering while contributing to high‑impact projects such as submarines, rail networks and nuclear power initiatives.

From day one you receive structured training and mentorship, with support toward Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, and a clear path into a permanent Engineering

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Security clearance (BPSS and SC) required or willing to obtain.
• Eligible to work in the UK and meet nationality/residency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work across electrical engineering lifecycle from concept to in-service support and decommissioning.
• Rotate through placements every 3–6 months over two years across projects and locations.
• Develop foundation in electrical, control and instrumentation engineering with increasing responsibilities.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / related field

MEng / MSc preferred
