Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a Graduate Site Engineer to join our 2027 Early Careers programme in Dundee. You will gain hands-on experience on major infrastructure projects, taking on real responsibility from day one and building technical and leadership skills with support from experienced colleagues.

You'll work within our Power Transmission & Distribution teams, applying your Civil Engineering degree and developing professional accreditation as you contribute to project delivery,

Qualifications

• Graduates with a Civil Engineering degree and a 2:2 honours.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proactive and able to work in a team on-site environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordination, and delivery of engineering activities on live projects.
• Support setting out, surveying, and checking works against drawings and specs.
• Review engineering drawings and documentation to support project delivery.
• Contribute to safety, quality, and environmental management on site.
• Maintain project records and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
