Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc in Birmingham is inviting applications for a Graduate Civil Engineer on our 2027 Early Careers programme. You will contribute to major infrastructure projects from day one, applying your civil engineering knowledge across site and office environments and gaining professional accreditations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with at least a 2:2 honours by start date.
• Full UK driver’s license is preferred.
• Willingness to undertake regular site visits.

Responsibilities

• Deliver major infrastructure projects from planning to handover.
• Assist design, construction and maintenance activities across site and office environments.
• Apply academic knowledge to real-world engineering challenges and develop professional skills.
• Contribute to the project lifecycle with input from planning through to commissioning.
