Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc invites applications for a Graduate Site Engineer as part of our 2027 Early Careers programme in Dundee. You will gain hands-on experience on major infrastructure projects, supporting planning, delivery, and technical development from day one.

You'll work with experienced engineers within Power Transmission & Distribution, developing practical skills, professional accreditations, and leadership capabilities through a structured graduate development programme.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Civil Engineering degree with a 2:2 honours.
• Interest in infrastructure and construction industry.
• Enthusiasm for developing professional engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of engineering activities on live projects.
• Assist with setting out, surveying, and checking works against drawings.
• Review drawings and specifications to support project delivery.
• Assist with site records, progress reports, and quality checks.
• Contribute to health, safety, and environmental management on site.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to deliver on schedule.
