Job summary

Principal Education is recruiting a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to work with specialist schools in Hounslow on a full-time basis until July 2027. You will support pupils with autism, SLD and SEMH, 1:1 and in small groups, using PECS, Makaton and positive behaviour strategies.

You will work alongside teachers, therapists and the SENCO daily, gaining hands-on experience to discuss in interviews. A degree in Psychology, Education or related subject is preferred, with an Enhanced DBS or

Qualifications

• Degree in Psychology, Education or related subject.
• Some experience with children or young people, paid or voluntary.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• 1:1 support for pupils with autism, SLD and SEMH.
