Aspire People Limited is seeking a Psychology Graduate to join our SEN Teaching Assistant team in Royston/Meldreth, Hertfordshire. The role supports pupils with autism, ADHD and other needs, working alongside teachers, therapists and care staff. This is a temporary to permanent, full-time position during term time (Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4:30pm).

Psychology Graduate - SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Royston / Meldreth, Hertfordshire
Salary: £22,996-£25,068 per annum (actual salary, depending on experience)
Hours: Full Time Term Time Only Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (40 hours per week)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain valuable experience before pursuing a career in Clinical or Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health, Teaching or Social Care?

This is more than a Teaching Assistant role. You'll work within a specialist school alongside experienced teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals, supporting children and young people aged 6-19 with Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, communication needs and SEMH.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
  • Support students in the classroom and throughout the school day.
  • Deliver tailored 1:1 and small-group support.
  • Encourage communication, emotional wellbeing and independence.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Provide personal care where required.
We're looking for graduates who are:
