Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a Psychology Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant in Royston/Meldreth, Hertfordshire. Salary £22,996-£25,068 per annum. Hours: 40 per week, full-time term time only. Contract: Temporary to Permanent.

You will work in a specialist school alongside teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals, supporting children aged 6-19 with autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and SEMH, delivering 1:1 and small-group support as part of a nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths required (or equivalent).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills needed.
• Patience and resilience to support students with additional needs.

Hours: Full Time Term Time Only Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (40 hours per week)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain valuable experience before pursuing a career in Clinical or Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health, Teaching or Social Care?

This is more than a Teaching Assistant role. You'll work within a specialist school alongside experienced teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals, supporting children and young people aged 6-19 with Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, communication needs and SEMH.
