Job summary

Remedy Education in East London is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a student with autism and communication difficulties on a 1:1 basis. You will help the student engage with learning, develop social skills and build confidence in a supportive setting.

The role is ideal for graduates with background in Special Needs, Psychology or Education, and previous SEN experience (voluntary or paid) is highly valued. This position offers ongoing interviews and trial days.

Qualifications

  • Previous SEN experience desirable (voluntary or paid, at least 1 year).

About the Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working one-on-one with a child who has autism and communication difficulties. Your role will be to provide tailored support, helping the student engage in learning, develop social skills, and build confidence.
