Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their Warrington commercial team. This role offers hands-on exposure to the full commercial lifecycle of residential construction projects, with support from seasoned professionals.

Ideal candidates will hold a relevant degree and show a strong interest in Quantity Surveying, with good numerical, IT and communication skills. The position is based in Warrington and focuses on build-to-rent and high-density residential schemes.

Qualifications

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline.
• Some experience through placement, internship or graduate scheme is preferred.
• A genuine interest to pursue a career in Quantity Surveying.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proficiency with IT and MS Office.
• A full UK driving licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support Quantity Surveyors with commercial management of projects.
• Assist with preparation and review of subcontractor packages.
• Support procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist with tender analysis and cost comparisons.
• Prepare and maintain cost reports.
• Assist with valuations and payment applications.
• Monitor project costs against budgets.
• Support management of variations and compensation events.
• Assist with subcontractor accounts and payments.
• Support preparation of final accounts.
• Review drawings, specifications and contracts.
