Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier 1 main contractor on a high-profile student accommodation project in Leeds. This site-based role covers pre- and post-construction work on a £175m block with over 650 apartments.

You will integrate into the commercial team, reporting to the Senior Project Surveyor, delivering cost control, valuations, and final accounts while aligning with client expectations. UK-wide CPD encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience across pre- and post-construction stages.
• Bills of quantities, cost estimates and cost plans experience.
• Strong cost control and value engineering awareness.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project team to provide cost-effective advice.
• Assist in preparation of tender documents and cost plans.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site visits for cost data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure cost control and value engineering.
• Undertake measurements, valuations and final accounts.
• Prepare financial statements and CPD participation.
