Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial management on high-rise Build to Rent schemes in Warrington. You will drive cost control, CVRs, forecasts, valuations and subcontract management from pre-construction through final account.

The role requires strong negotiator with excellent stakeholder management and IT skills, working closely with project teams to deliver value and cost certainty on major residential developments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment.
• Experience on high-rise residential or Build to Rent projects is highly advantageous.
• Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to final account.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, CVRs, forecasting, valuations and subcontract management.
• Good understanding of construction contracts.
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

Project Quantity Surveyor – High Rise / Build to Rent

Location – Warrington

The Role

As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with the project and senior commercial teams.

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing the commercial performance of assigned projects

Preparing and managing CVRs, forecasts, cost reports, and cash flow

Managing subcontract procurement and subcontractor accounts

Preparing valuations, applications for payment, variations, and final accounts

Managing commercial risk and identifying opportunities to maximise project performance

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Project Quantity Surveyor will have:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment

Experience working on high-rise residential or Build to Rent projects would be highly advantageous

Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to final account

Strong knowledge of cost control, CVRs, forecasting, valuations, and subcontract management

Good understanding of construction contracts

Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

Good Excel and IT skills

Relevant Quantity Surveying or construction-related qualification
