Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor for its Infrastructure team, based at one of our sites across the southern and midlands region. Starting salary is £31,000 with a potential car allowance of £4,750, on a 2-year permanent programme leading to an assistant level role with salary potential around £38k.

Starting date is September 2027. This is a full-time, site-based role with UK assessment days planned in Jan & Feb 2027. Sponsorship cannot be offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or currently working towards one.
• Graduates expected in 2027 or within past three years may apply.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing project budgets, cost plans and estimates.
• Support measurement and valuation of on-site work.
• Help prepare and submit tenders and contract documents.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress.
• Collaborate with project team to prepare progress reports and financial statements.
