Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor for the Birmingham region. You will support the project team in commercial and contractual aspects, gaining hands-on experience with mentorship from experienced professionals.

The role offers a starting salary of £31,000 per annum plus car allowance on some contracts, on a permanent 2-year pathway leading to an assistant level role with potential around £38k. Starting date is September 2027. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying is required.
• Demonstrates numerical confidence and ability to use data for decisions.
• Motivation to learn and develop professionally in construction.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in maximising gross profit for projects
• Managing commercial resources of the project
• Assessing, reviewing, and mitigating commercial and contractual risks
• Helping prepare and submit tenders and contract documents
• Collaborating with the project team to prepare progress reports and financial statements
