Graduate Project Development Manager 2025

What will you be doing?

As a Graduate Project Development Manager you will assist with the daily management of projects, focusing on delivering a quality service and product to our clients in line with the project goals. You will:

  • Work with project teams to understand and scope the required outcomes of identified and future hub North Scotland (hNSL) projects.
  • Assist in the development of feasibility studies.
  • Work within project teams to ensure successful delivery over a full range of projects and programmes from initial inception through to on-site delivery and completion.
  • Assist in the development of projects which satisfy all the requirements of the Clients and hNSL business processes across the following:
  • Assist in ensuring compliance and continued development of the hNSL business processes including Project Reporting, Health & Safety, Key Performance Indicators, Risk Management and Quality reporting.
  • Assist in production of regular reporting on project performance on programme, budget, quality
  • Onsite monitoring and reporting on construction progress

As well as being employed by Galliford Try and getting the benefits of being part of this organisation and its award winning graduate programme, you will join the team to be full-time seconded to hub North Scotland Limited (hNSL) based in our Aberdeen Office.

hNSL is a public-private sector partnership company established to develop, fund and deliver community infrastructure projects such as schools, healthcare facilities and other public buildings. Galliford Try are a key shareholder in the hNSL business.

This role is available for a September 2025 start, with the possibility of an earlier start date to suit yourself and the business.

As part of the graduate programme, you will be expected to work in and around our UK based offices. As part of the future progression of the role, there will be an increased level of travelling to our offices and locations around the UK.

What are we looking for?

We invite applications from graduates who are passionate about the industry and have achieved, or are on track to achieve a Bachelors or Masters degree in Construction Management / Architectural Engineering / Civil Engineer (or similar) prior to September 2025.

You will have strong collaboration skills with the ability to build inclusive, diverse relationships across stakeholders. Abilities in persuasion, influencing, and customer support will be fundamental to the role.

A full UK driving license (or currently learning) and the eligibility to live and work in the UK without restriction is essential for this role.

You will be:

  • A collaborator: You work and communicate effectively with lots of different people at different levels using a range of methods, providing valuable input into key projects.
  • A problem-solver: You look at potential solutions from all angles, bringing ideas and solutions to the table.
